Modular construction is often considered a Modernist concept, yet people in the region have for centuries understood the importance of being able to restructure and 'reposition' buildings due to changing social, political and economic conditions and displacement. This tour will consider the mobility of vernacular wooden architecture in relation to Augustas Serapinas's reconfiguration of old buildings.
