On January 5 we invite you to the Power Plant for a concert of carols performed by Julita Charytoniuk, Maria Żynel and Magdalena Wieremiejuk, accompanying the “Pine, Spruce and Aspen” exhibition. Carols originating from Podlasie and those taken from our eastern neighbors, the well-known and those less popular, in Polish and in dialect, single and polyphonic, will be sung. Not all of them tell the story of Christ and are based on biblical themes. We'll also hear wishful carols sung in the past to hosts, brides-in-law, bachelors, young couples or young children, and even an archaic carol about the creation of the world.
