Planning to visit Arsenał Gallery in Białystok with your child? Find out how you can spend time together!

The Arsenał Gallery building at ul. Adama Mickiewicza 2 in Białystok has two educational rooms where workshops and lectures take place. Together, they are known as Plac Zabaw Arsenał (Arsenał Playground). The entrance to the educational rooms is on the ground floor, next to the stairs.

When no workshops are taking place, you can relax on the beanbags in the first room, take a break or read a book from our little library. Sometimes, wooden building blocks, paper and crayons are available too.

Near the exhibition attendants’ desk, you will find bags containing WY-twórcy (“Co-Creators”) art activities inspired by the current exhibition. You are welcome to use these kits free of charge while visiting the Gallery.

The WY-twórcy bags are designed for families with children, but individual adult visitors and groups of friends are welcome to use them too. Each kit contains art materials and activity sheets with exercises related to the exhibition. The idea is to make yourself comfortable in the exhibition space and have fun, drawing inspiration from the artworks around you.

These art and sensory activities engage the imaginations of both children and their caregivers, encourage conversation and offer an opportunity to spend creative time together — including after returning home. Children become more familiar with artworks and the gallery environment, while adults have the opportunity to look at the exhibited works from a fresh and unconventional perspective.

We invite families with children and all creative minds to join in the fun with WY-twórcy! The project is ongoing, and we will keep you informed about opportunities to use the activity kits accompanying individual exhibitions.
